About College
At Allahabad Institute of Medical Sciences, we believe that the meritorious students should be rewarded and should not be left out of the mainstream in their quest for higher education.Scholarships at the university are provided to the outstanding students. Thus, to recognize the talent of meritorious and needy students ,the university has provision of scholarships,medals,awards and certificates.Regulations governing these scholarships/awards can be amended from time to time for registering for the same please follow the guidelines.
- All Jain students will be given up to 50% exemption in Tuition fees and up to 40% in Hostel fees for the entire duration of the programme.No scholarship in D.El.Ed.(BTC),collaborative programmes,Dental & Medical.*
- For Ph.D. programme in Jainology, all Jain Candidates will get 100% scholarship.
- Multiple scholarship will not be available.

- Discount of 10% in tuition fee shall be given to the siblings of students studying / seeking admission in the university with the condition that it will be given to the sibling whose fee is lesser and it shall be applicable only on first year tuition fee and not on subsequent years.
- 20% Discount in tuition fee(through-out the duration of programme i.e- from II to IV year) to the existing polytechnic students who take admission in B.Tech programmes of the University.However,such students shall not be eligible to avail benefit of other scholarship schemes being provided by the university.
- Scholarship on case to case basis to differently-abled students will be given for entire programme.The amount of scholarship shall be such as based upon the level of disability (obtained from District Hospital) being produced.The details of the scholarship shall be shared subsequently once decided by the committee constituted for the purpose.
- Multiple scholarship will not be available.
Scholarship for Sports-persons for the Academic Session 2022-23
In order to attract and reward the talented sports persons as well as enhance sport standards in the university, the following scholarship scheme has been approved by the competent authority for the various programs except D.El.Ed.(BTC), Collaborative, Dental, Medical & Allied programs.

80% C Silver / Bronze Medalist in Inter-varsity (Zonal), below Senior National Championships (Under 19 / SGFI (Schools Games Federation of India) / Junior National / Sub-junior National etc.) 60% D Participation in All India University Championships / Inter-varsity (Zonal) Competitions / Other recognized National Level Competitions or Trophies or Championships. 15% Note:
- Only those games / sports shall be considered, which are recognized / affiliated by the IOA (Indian Olympic Association) / MYAS (Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports / IOC (International Olympic Committee) / AIU (Association of Indian Universities)
- The Scholarship in the next year of the program will be given to the student on having successfully completed all the academic requirements of the previous year, failing which, scholarship will be withdrawn.

- Only those games / sports shall be considered, which are recognized / affiliated by the IOA (Indian Olympic Association) / MYAS (Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports / IOC (International Olympic Committee) / AIU (Association of Indian Universities) etc.
- Scholarships are available in the admission year only.
- A Selection Committee constituted under the coordination of In-charge, College of Physical Education shall scrutinize the applications and select candidates for these scholarships on the basis of performance and merit in the trial(s). The decision of the Committee will be final and abiding and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
